Projects
The Energy 2030 Mapping Project is Forum-led initiative that aims to visualize scalable practices and approaches that align with recommendations and strategies in the Energy 2030 Equinox Blueprint, worldwide on a virtual map. It includes far more than solar energy strategies; the goal is to be as comprehensive as possible in visualizing the types of practices and approaches available to us to solve the energy crisis.
Here is a list of practices visualized by the Energy 2030 mapping project:
- Generation
- Advanced Nuclear
- Renewable Energy (including solar energy)
- Solar
- Hydroelectricity
- Wind
- Geothermal & Heat Pumps
- Enhanced Geothermal Power
- Heat Pumps
- Off-grid Electricity Access through Solar panels and other technologies
- Microgrid
- Distribution
- Smart Urbanization
- Transportation
- Smart Grid
- Storage
- Large-Scale Storage for Renewable Energy (solar or otherwise)
