Lead Writer, Generation SDG
Jeremy Runnalls is the Lead Author on WGSI’s Generation SDG publications, an initiative charting a path forward for the successful implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals across Canada. He also currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief at Corporate Knights Magazine, a quarterly public policy publication focused on the intersection of business and society. He sits on the board of Green Thumbs Growing Kids, a Toronto-based charity working to connect children with nature through the use of educational gardens at TDSB schools. In 2013, he was named a Mining Country Fellow by the Institute for Journalism and Natural Resources.
At the helm of a mission-based publication advocating for a cleaner form of capitalism, Jeremy is constantly looking for new ways to safeguard the continued prosperity of Canadians while ensuring that this opportunity is shared by all. “Achieving this will involve true and sustained collaboration between civil society and the public and private sectors, an opportunity this Summit is well-positioned to help facilitate,” says Jeremy.
When he’s not wrestling with sustainable development, Jeremy can be found singing in professional choirs, swimming as much as possible and getting lost exploring the beautiful built form of Montréal.
