In 2000, Jennifer Corriero and Michael Furdyk co-founded TakingITGlobal (TIG), a non-profit organization that empowers young people to understand and act on the world's greatest challenges. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with a growing worldwide presence, the organization's flagship program is TakingITGlobal.org, the most popular online community for young people interested in connecting across cultures and making a difference, with hundreds of thousands of unique visitors each month.
In 2009, Jennifer was appointed as the Education and Youth Cluster Focal Point for the Young Global Leaders contribution to the World Economic Forum Global Redesign Initiative. Additionally, she was Co-Chair of the Forum's Youth Task Force. She is also Editor of the 'Youth Effect: Toolkit for Decision Makers on Engaging with Youth' and served as a member of the 2010-2011 World Economic Forum Global Agenda council on the Next Generation.
Jennifer travels the world delivering speeches and facilitating workships with educators, social entrepreneurs and youth. Some of her credits include the Education World Forum, the International YMCA Conference, and the World Economic Forum Meeting of the New Champions.
